Alejandro Zaballero

Alejandro walked into his first yoga class in 1999, hoping to impress a girl. He didn’t get the girl. Instead, proving that the universe is super sneaky when it wants you on the enlightenment path, he discovered a practice that reshaped his being and guides his journey through the world. Alejandro’s practice is informed by the Jivamukti, Iyengar and Ashtanga lineages, by the teachings of Tibetan Buddhism, and by teacher training in the Conquering Lion Yoga school. Alejandro strives to practice asana energetically and joyfully, powered by a deep-seated sense of gratitude to all his teachers and by a rigorous adherence to alignment and technique.

When he’s not on his mat, Alejandro is an architect and photographer, and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.amandasidranyoga.com
