Carlos Barksdale

Carlos was born and raised in Memphis, TN, and currently works in technology and venture capital. He started practicing yoga in 2017 seeking a greater sense of presence. He finds the physical practice of asana a helpful way to quiet his mind through physical exertion. As an instructor, Carlos has particularly enjoyed sharing yoga with his local community, friends, and family, and teaches outdoor classes in Brooklyn through @communitypractice_. Outside of work and yoga, Carlos is passionate about empowering the textured hair community with healthy products through his haircare brand, Glory By Us (glorybyus.com).
